Morning Video: Ohio Experiments With 3rd Grade Literacy Deadline
The PBS NewsHour aired this segment Friday evening on efforts in Ohio and 13 other states to focus on early literacy and set a 3rd grade deadline.
I notice you chose to come out and call it a deadline, rather than go along with the chillingly Orwellian "guarantee", or the more transparent "retention rule". John Tulenko had no qualms about it.
