Technology: "Social Robots" In The Classroom
Social robots are already being used to work with autistic kids, stroke victims, and the elderly. Poor kids and more kinds of students with disabilities can't be far behind.

This August article from Slate (Robots may become elementary school teachers in the future) shares research showing that people learn more from physical robots than they do from onscreen avatars.
