Pictures: Another Obama School Excuse Note
"Mr. Ackerman -- Please excuse tyler... he was with me! Barack." In case you didn't see it over the weekend.... or when he did the same thing a few years ago. Not sure what I think about the exlamation point.
I could write a dig on the President for once again doing something he has no authority to do, but this was just fun! I imagine that note will be a treasured memory for that student! I just hope the school doesn't take it like they would any other excuse note!

I am not sure why there is so much negative hoopla over an excuse note given to the child by the President of the United States.
If the fundamental objective of schooling is learning, then the child probably learnt quite a bit listening to the President speak. Not sure how much the boy understood what he heard, but he will surely treasure this note from the President.
Very similar to the very nice card The White House sends to parents if they register their child's name, date of birth and address welcoming them to this beautiful world.
