White House: Senior DPC Staffer Headed To OMB

image from budget.senate.govPerhaps you were paying better attention than I was but longtime White House DPC deputy Heather Higginbotton -- a former CIS, Kerry, Kerry-Edwards, and Obama staffer who's worked on education and other domestic policy issues -- has been nominated for what many would argue is a much bigger job as deputy at the OMB and is currently awaiting full confirmation.  She's already won Committee approval. Whether her nomination will get full Senate confirmation is undecertain. I'm sure it will get worked out (or not) via good old fashioned horsetrading that has nothing to do with Higginbottom's qualifications or abilities.
