Video: Mike Johnston's Softer, Gentler Version Of Reform

Here's Mike Johnston's keynote speech at the Yale SOM education conference last month, which shows you a reformer with a different approach and style from Michelle Rhee -- in part a function of his time as a principal and perhaps also his distance from Washington:

Of course, the differences won't be significant enough for some -- he's just another youngish TFA alum, after all -- and a white guy to boot.  (And as Dana Goldstein pointed out in her article earlier this week, Johnston's legislation has its detractors.)  Part 2 is here, part 3 is here, part 4 is here.
