Edujobs: Few Actual Layoffs, Few Actual Rehires

Like Mike Antonucci at EIA, I am struggling to let go of the folly and laziness that was edujobs -- especially when it comes to press coverage of the supposed mass layoffs that were heading our way.

We have districts in Texas RIF-ing teachers. Hundreds of teachers. But it's hard to figure out how much of that is a formula issue and how much is an economic issue. Probably more the former than the latter.
