Noise: Soundproofing Helps Raise Achievement

Noisy buildings, classrooms, and homes aren't just bothersome.  They have a big effect on kids learning, according to this Ashley Merryman article in Newsweek (What Do Preschools Have in Common with Bridges and Airports?).  Just a 5db reduction can make a big difference.
