A welcome break from all this NCLB nonsense (and Earth Day), Colombian-born singer and dancer Shakira made a Capitol Hill appearance yesterday on behalf of global education awareness.
If only EDINO8 could get George Clooney to start doing events with them.

Last summer, Shakira audited a class on Western Civilization at UCLA and did so without fanfare. Suffice it to say that Clooney is less interested in scholarship. They aren't to be compared.
