Judging the quality of information comes in number 1, and effective writing comes in number 2.  Use of audio, video, or graphics comes in last (on the chart).

The first thing I notice is the source says, "Based on a non-representative sample of 2,067 middle and high school teachers." In judging the quality of this information, I have to say you can not generalize from a non-representative sample to the general population of teachers.
Who was the non-representative sample...only retiring teacher, only first year teachers, only teachers without interactive whiteboards, only teachers in urban schools?
Judging the quality of information is important (as are many of the other skills.)

This article really got under my skin. By looking at the chart, these teachers almost have almost all of these categories in the exact opposite of their importance in this 21st century. They have that working with audio, video, and graphic content is only 23% essential to life. Im sorry, but all electronics are is audio, video, and graphic content. In 2013 if you don’t know how to work a cellphone or internet im sorry you are way behind the learning curb. I could understand if they were talking about 80 year old great grandparents, but they are talking about school students who probably have never even seen a VCR before. Then social media is one of the most powerful networking tools on the planet. If you want to be discovered beyond your four walls, I suggest you learn how to work Instagram and twitter.

OKAY! This is kind of awkward, only because so many thing on this chart is completely out of order. How is it that an individual should know more about judging quality of information over presenting themselves and communicating in ways of which that are creative and interesting. I’m confused. Things of this nature should come well before a person judges anything. Why? Because if a person knows nothing about communicating and/or how to present themselves, then how are they going to know how to judge anything? How will they know what to look for? How will they know how to communicate for that matter and how will they know how to present it?
