This should say PTA or Parent Teacher Assocation:

Teacher Association Sues For-Profit Rival PTO Today ow.ly/e0Wzj #5bb

(Parents way dominate the PTA, of course -- many "unit" (school) PTAs struggle to get teachers to join.)
