Media: Brown & Weingarten's Big Mistakes

What a bad week for Campbell Brown and Randi Weingarten, and the perspectives they espouse:

Undoubtedly, Brown should  have disclosed in her WSJ oped that she's married to a StudentsFirst NY board member (and Romney advisor). She finally admitted this in her GothamSchools interview here, though she doesn't seem to realize how  much it damages her credibility not to have disclosed.

For her part, Weingarten should have refrained from getting involved in such a debate right after a successful convention and with much bigger fish to fry. She's the head of the AFT.  Send Janet or Kombiz or someone else to play that role, or let the UFT take care of it since it's a local issue. No one wants Weingarten mucking around on Twitter in situations like this -- except perhaps Weingarten.

Ouch. Brown trying to keep that sort of thing secret isn’t exactly the kind of thing that improves one’s image...

Don't worry it's almost resolved
