By Lyndsey Layton, The Washington Post. Virginia intends to revise its new goals for student achievement in public schools, after state and federal officials agreed that those goals did not do enough to narrow the gap.

As libertarian as I am, I think that elderly drivers should be re-tested at a certain age, and the LA school story only confirms this. Eleven people is eleven too many, and, quite frankly, absurd.

Oh, and those are strong words coming from Ryan, a man who, on several policies, has proposed spending EXACTLY THE SAME amount as Obama.
