Quotes: Luck Had Nothing To Do With It
People really don't like to hear success explained away as luck, especially successful people...The world doesn't want to acknowledge it either. - Michael Lewis, speaking at Princeton (via PBS NewsHour)

Success is the final step of a process. Before that there are several steps. One need to put the feet on the those steps. Right stepping is done by one's caliber but getting a chance to put the feet on the right step depends completely on the luck. E.g. when a presidential election of a country starts, then initially so many names emerge. After that only 2/3 lucky candidates are short listed.Even most prospective candidate might have been rejected in this process. At last the luckiest person wins the crown.
