It does speak to Obama’s character that he’s willing to listen to a young boy’s request. That being said, one can’t help but see the obvious publicity stunt inherent in it.

"Teachers, You're Being Way Too Difficult" - That sounds so much like the situation going on at my old high school this year with the new principal in charge. He came in and first course of action was to rid the school of all teachers who'd reached tenure. From giving them classes they hated teaching to giving approval for field trips then yanking it and even charging one teacher with theft when the teacher had permission from the dept. head to sell unused lab supplies, he's clearing house fast.
