Good old TNTP! Read the story above of Central High School's progress using the "lemons" from Shabazz High School. How can the get it that wrong? Did they not examine what the schools were doing? What about the extra supports provided the students at Central?
If we don't look at the facts, we are doomed to repeat the same errors. We need to do what works, not what sounds good.

In some countries/universities, the word thesis or a cognate is used as part of a bachelor's or master's course, while dissertation is normally applied to a doctorate, whilst, in others, the reverse is true.
