Campaign 2010: Will Reformers Cost Dems In 2010?

Slide_5253_72162_large Funny thing about the Politico story describing Democrats and teachers unions trying to get their acts together in time for the November elections is that it doesn't mention last week's hullabaloo over publicizing value-added teacher ratings in Los Angeles.  As you may recall, Secretary Duncan stepped into it by endorsing the practice without consuling the White House or the political folks.  The veteran AFT president Randi Weingarten held fire.
