Duncan: Cunning Wordsmith Makes Small Ideas Big
The connections are undeniable: Race To The Top and Renaissance 2010 are both Duncan initiatives, both undersized despite lofty aims, both named and managed by cunning Peter Cunningham, Duncan's communications guru (above). However the name "Renaissance 2010" has already fallen from use in Chicago and -- as the Chicago Tribune's Stephanie Banchero reports -- failed to make the dramatic differences that were promised.
