It never ceases to amaze me that it always goes back to unions with these folks. And a lesson in politics might be useful: Corzine and Deeds lost their races all on their own. I'd posit that were it not for union support they may not have done as well as they did. Bloomberg on the other hand almost lost - given that he spent close to $100M on his race, he should have beat the crap out of his opponent. But he didn't. In fact, the unions probably helped his opponents get as close as they did.

Oh, and the last line - "The people rained on their policies. They blew past their influence. Paper tigers can’t withstand the wind and rain." - sounds a lot like what happened in the last presidential election. So does that mean we're all paper tigers now?

And couldn't the poster at least found a capitalist to quote? Using Mao to make a point on a blog dedicated to privatization of public education? Rich...
