Monday, June 16
11 a.m. PDT Secretary Spellings will tour classrooms and visit with students at Gary and Jerri-Ann Jacobs High Tech High School.
11:30 a.m. PDT Secretary Spellings will participate in an education policy roundtable discussion with students, teachers and administrators at Gary and Jerri-Ann Jacobs High Tech High School to discuss No Child Left Behind and how the Federal government can support further academic gains for students.
12:15 p.m. PDT Secretary Spellings will participate in a media availability with Larry Rosenstock, chief executive officer, Gary and Jerri-Ann Jacobs High Tech High and Gary Jacobs, chairman, Board of Directors, Gary and Jerri-Ann Jacobs High Tech High at Gary and Jerri-Ann Jacobs High Tech High School.
7 p.m. PDT Secretary Spellings will participate in a media availability prior to delivering remarks at the Biotechnology Institute’s Education Banquet at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina.
8:30 p.m. PDT Secretary Spellings will deliver the keynote address and participate in a question and answer session at the Biotechnology Institute’s Education Banquet at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina.

12:40 p.m. EDT Secretary Spellings will deliver remarks and participate in a question and answer session with former Governor Jeb Bush at the “Excellence in Action: A National Summit on Education Reform” at Walt Disney World Contemporary Resort.
