Former Middle School Teacher Could Get Jail Time

Debra LaFave, a former teacher convincted for having sex with a student now faces jail time for sex-related talk with an underage co-worker at a restaurant where she works.  She's prohibited from having unsupervised contact with minors, apparently. 

It's not clear who complained, or whether this is a serious charge.  What is clear is that it's a slow news day and there's nothing better than a tawdry sex scandal to make it through the day.  Tut, tut, tut.
