Has anybody done a study on the success rates of charter or private schools started by people famous for things other than education? I seem to remember that about some of the schools having problems in Ohio were founded by athletes and the like - folks who were well-intentioned, but unfortunately, might not know how to run a school. It would be interesting to see how those schools actually fair.
