Welcome to this blog's new home as part of Scholastic Administrator. The surroundings may have changed a little bit, but the essence -- timely, independent, and irreverent education news served up to you in one easy place -- remains the same.

Yes, that even includes taking pot shots at Scholastic, just like I did at EdWeek.  I'll continue to call it as I see it, to connect school issues to current events, and to have a little fun. 

Thanks again to Education Week for all the good things that came from our partnership. And new thanks to Kevin Hogan, editor of Scholastic Administrator, and all the other good folks at Scholastic, for bringing me on board.
