Now On Facebook: "Friends Of Betty Hale"

I just ran into Betty Hale, who has been a mentor and connector for generations of DC wonks and educationistas, not all of them from Harvard.  Head of IEL since 2001, Hale welcomed me to DC in 1991 and knows pretty much everyone. If you don't know her, you should.  But it doesn't matter.  She probably knows you.  Someone should start a Facebook group under "Friends of Betty Hale," and sign me up.
